Storyselling

How do you sell the future, how do you make a client see something they can’t see and feel something they don’t feel? Through the primary way all humans see the world – Storytelling.

The simple process of communication is that the human brain takes any word and translates it into an image and then into an emotion. That emotion is the core driving force of all our decisions in life. Fail to systematically create it and you will fail to move your audience. This keynote will give you the insights on the subject of “How To Hack Business Storytelling”, how to translate a customer case into a real working sales story, and the insane power of micro-stories. Motivation will be sky high to use StorySelling!

State of play: Can the economic crisis yield unique opportunities?

The definition of the word Crisis according to the Oxford English Dictionary is “a time of great danger, difficulty or doubt when problems must be solved, or important decisions must be made”. It’s widely known and documented throughout history that crises, whether political or economic, often act as the forcing mechanism to compel innovation. Now in 2023 amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, banking instability, crawling GDP growth, monumental layoffs in the tech industry to name but a few factors, where is the silver lining and where should iGaming companies direct themselves or potentially cut back to navigate the storm?

Debate: ESG – a hot potato that the gaming industry must urgently address, or an overblown non-issue

ESG is a powerful movement in the corporate and investment industries worldwide that operating companies and investors ignore at their peril. No matter one’s view on the relative merits of ESG, it is steadily and relentlessly growing in importance in all industries all over the world and gaming is not immune. In the US, compliance is steadily increasing despite the backlash against ESG mandates. In Europe, the impact of ESG has resulted in a punitive re-rating of gaming companies and as a result an inconsistent approach by the industry to manage this reality. Billions of dollars are at stake. So, what can the industry do? How can the ESG movement be turned into a positive? What must be done collectively by the industry and individually by companies to ensure investment continues to flow into the gaming sector? Or must nothing at all be done?
